Create a Quest
Describe what you want to buy or rent, including location, price range, property details, and timing. HomeRustle helps organize those preferences into a searchable Quest that you control.
Fill in the form yourself or work through it with Russell, HomeRustle's assistant. Either route produces the same Quest — the assistant is an option, not a requirement. Creating an account and posting a Quest are free.

Search matching Listings
Review Listings that meet the criteria you stated. HomeRustle shows the relevant property facts and lets you choose how to sort the results and decide which one is right for you.

Express interest
If a Listing interests you, you can say so. Expressing interest is free and does not reveal who you are. Nothing opens up until the owner expresses interest back.

Confirm the reveal, then communicate
Mutual interest is not a connection on its own. One of you has to explicitly confirm the reveal, and you see the exact amount or benefit it will use before you confirm.
Only the person who confirms spends anything. If the owner confirms first, you do not also pay to open that same connection — and the reverse is equally true. Once it is confirmed, both of you can communicate and decide what happens next.
A one-time introductory reveal, a renter or buyer subscription with an included allowance, or a single paid reveal are the three ways that confirmation gets funded. See current prices and terms →
