Two sides. One searchable marketplace.

Buyers and renters describe what they are looking for. Property owners describe what they may sell or rent out. HomeRustle brings both into the same marketplace.

The difference is what the marketplace contains.

A listing website contains properties. HomeRustle contains Listings and Quests: both the properties owners may offer and the homes buyers and renters want to find.

Buyers and renters search matching Listings. Owners search matching Quests. If nothing matches today, either side can hear about a matching opportunity later.

From a Quest to a conversation.

    Create a Quest

    Describe what you want to buy or rent in everyday language. Include the location, budget, property details, timing, and preferences that matter to you. HomeRustle helps organize them into a Quest you can review and edit.

    Fill in the form yourself, talk it through with Russell — HomeRustle's assistant — or start one way and finish the other. Using the assistant is optional; the form on its own is a complete way to create a Quest.

    Search matching Listings

    HomeRustle compares active Listings with the criteria in your Quest. Every result has passed the relevant filters; you see the property facts and choose how to sort and evaluate the matches.

    Keep the Quest active

    A Quest is more than a one-time search. If a matching Listing appears later, HomeRustle can notify you so you do not have to repeat the same search every day.

For property owners

From a Listing to a conversation.

    Create a Listing

    Describe a property you own and may want to sell or rent out. Add its location, price, features, availability, and other useful details. A Listing does not have to begin with a broad public marketing campaign.

    The same two routes apply: fill in the form, or work through it with Russell. Neither is required — an AI conversation is an option, not a step you have to take.

    Search matching Quests

    HomeRustle compares your active Listing with buyer and renter criteria. Review the matching Quests, the facts behind them, and what people are seeking in your area.

    Keep the Listing active

    If no current Quest matches your property, HomeRustle can notify you when matching buyer or renter demand appears later.

A match is a starting point.

HomeRustle uses the criteria people provide to determine which Quests and Listings match, then shows the relevant facts behind each one. Reviewing those facts and deciding which match is best is left to the people involved.

A match is not a connection, and mutual interest is not one either. Getting from one to the other takes a deliberate step, and it only ever takes one person to take it.

    Signing up costs nothing. HomeRustle asks which side of the market you are on and keeps that as your role.

  2. 2. Post a Quest or a Listing

    Free, and you can do both from one account.

  3. 3. See your matches

    HomeRustle compares the criteria on both sides. Searching and reviewing matches is free.

  4. 4. Express interest

    Free, and it does not reveal who you are.

  5. 5. Interest becomes mutual

    Nothing opens until the other side expresses interest too. Mutual interest is required, and by itself it still does not open a connection.

  6. 6. One person confirms the reveal

    Someone has to explicitly confirm it. That confirmation shows the exact amount or benefit it will use before anything is used, and it is the only step in this sequence that can cost anything.

  7. 7. Both of you can communicate

    Only the person who confirmed spends anything. The other side does not pay and does not spend an allowance to open that same connection, and messages are not charged for individually.
