Cookie Policy

Version: 2026-initial-v2 · Effective: September 13, 2026

This version replaces version 2026-initial-v1 and changes the operator's name to HomeRustle LLC. Cookie choices are a per-browser preference rather than an account agreement, so this update does not ask you to consent again; you can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings.

1. Scope

This policy explains how HomeRustle LLC, operating as HomeRustle, uses cookies and similar technologies on the marketing website at homerustle.com. Optional marketing analytics and advertising technologies are not loaded in the application at app.homerustle.com. The application may use operational cookies or browser storage needed for authentication, security, preferences, and core functions.

2. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files a website asks a browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and identifiers used to recognize a browser or record an event. Cookies do not by themselves give HomeRustle a person's name or email address. That information is available only when a person provides it, signs in, or an identifier is deliberately connected to another source.

3. Categories

  • Necessary. Operate and secure the website, deliver requested pages, prevent abuse, and remember privacy choices.
  • Analytics. With consent, help understand website use and performance, including visits, viewed pages, referral sources, IP-derived approximate location, and device/browser characteristics.
  • Advertising. With consent, help measure campaigns, create or use advertising audiences, limit repeated ads, and show or measure ads on other services.

4. Current tools

No optional analytics or advertising tool may run before consent to its category. First-party analytics records are retained for up to 180 days and do not store raw IP addresses. This inventory will be updated from the deployed configuration whenever an optional tool is activated or changed.

5. Your choices

The website offers Accept all, Reject optional, and Customize choices. Necessary technologies remain active. Rejecting optional technologies will not prevent access to the website or application.

You can reopen the preference manager using Cookie Settings in the footer. A supported Global Privacy Control signal is treated as an opt-out of Advertising for that browser or device. Choices are generally browser- and device-specific; clearing browser data or using another browser or device may cause the site to ask again.

First-party analytics runs only when Analytics is allowed in Cookie Settings.

6. App and marketing-site boundary

The marketing website does not use optional analytics or advertising tools to intentionally collect app account data, names, email addresses, phone numbers, HomeRustle user IDs, payment details, user-to-user messages, Quest or Listing criteria, or exact property or search locations. HomeRustle does not enable cross-domain advertising measurement between homerustle.com and app.homerustle.com, and marketing-site cookies are not extended to the app subdomain.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when tools or practices change. We will update the date and tool inventory. Questions may be submitted through our contact form.
