For property owners
See who is looking for a property like yours.
Create a Listing for a property you may want to sell or rent out. Search buyer and renter Quests now, and let HomeRustle keep matching as new demand appears.
Supply can search demand.
On a listing website, owners publish properties and wait for buyers or renters to find them. HomeRustle also makes Quests searchable, giving owners a direct view of what people are already looking for.
You can participate whether your property is actively marketed, newly available, or something you would consider selling or renting if the right match appeared.
How it works for you
Create. Search. Communicate.
- 1
Create a Listing
Describe a property you own and may want to sell or rent out, including its location, features, price, and availability. Your Listing can remain active while the marketplace changes around it.
Fill in the form yourself or work through it with Russell, HomeRustle's assistant. Either route produces the same Listing — the assistant is an option, not a requirement. Creating an account and posting a Listing are free.
- 2
Search matching Quests
Review buyer and renter Quests that match your Listing. HomeRustle presents the relevant criteria and lets you choose how to sort the results and decide who to reach out to.
- 3
Express interest
If a Quest appears to fit your property, you can express interest. Expressing interest is free and does not reveal who you are. Nothing opens up until the buyer or renter expresses interest back.
- 4
Confirm the reveal, then communicate
Mutual interest is not a connection on its own. One of you has to explicitly confirm the reveal, and you see the exact amount or benefit it will use before you confirm.
Only the person who confirms spends anything. If the buyer or renter confirms first, you do not also pay to open that same connection — and the reverse is equally true. Once it is confirmed, both sides can communicate directly.
A one-time introductory reveal, a seller or landlord subscription with an included allowance, or a single paid reveal are the three ways that confirmation gets funded. See current prices and terms →
One Listing, an evolving market.
Sell or rent out
Create a sale Listing or a rental Listing. Both belong to the same core marketplace.
Search active demand
Look through Quests from buyers and renters whose stated criteria match your property.
Hear about future matches
If no match exists yet, HomeRustle can notify you when a matching Quest appears later.
Participate on your terms
A Listing can represent a property already on the market or one you are only considering offering.
See the relevant facts
HomeRustle shows the criteria behind a match so you can evaluate the opportunity yourself.
Privacy before communication
Identifying information is limited before a connection, giving both sides room to explore interest first.
Put your property into the conversation.
Create a Listing and search for the buyers or renters already describing what they want. Create your account, choose “I'm selling a property” or “I'm listing a rental” when HomeRustle asks which side of the market you are on, and your Listing is the next step.
